Good Practice is a series of books to encourage a strong work ethic and best effort. As my father always taught me, "A job worth doing, is worth doing well." Over the last 100 years the focus on hard work has been changed to what is entertaining and what soothes and pacifies. For most in modern Western societies, the days of fighting hard for survival are long past. Things are now expected to just be handed. Stories long ago would teach lessons and morals. Now they are merely a trade to evoke feelings and emotions. Too many thought that the lessons were boring and unattractive. This series is an attempt to set things back on course. There will not be any placating here. If it is a job worth doing, it is a job worth over doing. Not just 100%, but 110%! I tell my students all the time that what they put into anything in life, this is what they will get out of it. If you only give a little, that is what you can expect to get out of it. That is what you deserve. Even if you give it your all, life is not fair and it is just hard work! Keep going! To all of you entitled, participation trophied, poo poo gold sticker crybabies.
